A French subsidiary of the world leader in connectors, Amphenol Air LB has been manufacturing interconnection systems and composite fastening accessories for more than 60 years at its Carignan site in French Ardennes, mainly for aerospace markets.
Recognised for the quality of its products, the company relies on its technological and logistical know-how to serve and retain its industrial customers. Amphenol Air LB offers interconnection solutions for industries in the most demanding sectors: aerospace (69% of its turnover), defence, railways, energy, medical, etc. In order to meet their needs, it is committed to a three-pronged approach to continuous improvement in the areas of operational excellence, customer service and prevention/risk management. The objective of the company is to ensure the quality and delivery times required by its customers in their purchasing strategy, to be proactive with them, and to maintain a constant customer/provider communication. The Ardennes company can also rely on the experience of the American group Amphenol, operating on five continents with more than 110 operational units and 74,000 employees. In French Ardennes, Amphenol Air LB employs nearly 300 people and achieved 67 million in sales in 2018, 60% of which is exported.
Like a large number industries from French Ardennes, Amphenol Air LB has been able to use the existing car industry culture of its management team to improve the quality of its products and services, positioning itself as a major player in demanding markets, in which it has strengthened its positions.
