ROTOPLUS: plastics in all its guises

Rotoplus is based in Tournes, in French Ardennes

Rotoplus is based in Tournes, in French Ardennes. The company started in 1987 and is an industrial subcontractor specialised in rotomolded products. Rotomolding, also known as rotational moulding, is a technology that creates hollows in plastic of any size, shape or colour. This is a particularly flexible technology, because of its low investment costs, perfectly suited to small and medium sized production runs.

Rotoplus invests a lot in its staff and its skill base so that it can meet its customers’ expectations in terms of product quality and service. In 2016, the company transformed its premises to accommodate a new machine with a 5m spheric mould now fully operational. The company building was extended and its height raised (from 6 to 10m). Over the years this French Ardennes SME which employs 30 people has specialised in the rotational moulding of technical parts. Each year 1,200 tons of plastic are transformed into parts ranging in weight from 100 grams to several hundred kilos. Among them, for example, you might find isothermic containers, agricultural parts, sanitation products, road signs and bollards, all kinds of tanks, vehicle bodywork, etc.

Rotoplus has built up a depth of experience which enables it to manufacture technical products for businesses in all sectors (automotive, building industry, housing...). French Ardennes’s rotational moulding expert, which has an annual turnover of 6 million euros, is as likely to work with its sister company LA BUVETTE as it is with SMEs or big companies such as Nexans, Peugeot Sport, Electrolux, Parkeon, etc.

French Ardennes has always led the way in metal transformation technology and now examples such as Rotoplus, and other companies in the area, are drawing upon those roots to develop new fields of business.
