The Vauché Group: environmental processes for the future

Established in Sedan in the Ardennes, the Vauché Group offers innovative industrial solutions for sorting and adding value to waste.

Established in Sedan in the Ardennes, the Vauché Group offers innovative industrial solutions for sorting and adding value to waste.

Founded in 1860, this family group designs and constructs turnkey units for waste management (sorting centre, composting and biomethanisation).

For six generations, Vauché has embodied the entrepreneurship and adaptability of a family.

As far back as 1860, the Vauché Group started with an innovation: the invention of a procedure for storing beer, which had not hitherto been possible. Until 1914, over 5,000 of these devices were sold to brewers worldwide. After 1945, the company took a different tack: production of agricultural and industrial machinery. In the early 1980s, the group embarked on the production of waste treatment machinery.

Today, with 150 employees under the leadership of Stéphane Vauché, the group is the leading French company in that field. It designs and produces the equipment and machinery, and installs turnkey factories.

A certified eco-business with ISO 9001 certification, the group, which has been exporting its products for 60 years, has successfully structured itself and achieved its objective to penetrate targeted foreign markets.

Now also with a presence in Italy, Poland, southern Brazil and Romania, the group is taking on more and more large projects outside France, including the construction of a waste management site with a capacity of 600,000 tonnes in the Doha Desert in Qatar.

Its latest project has been with the Italian company Ambiente; Vauché constructed the most ambitious and most efficient of its recyclable household waste sorting facilities. It has one of the most mechanised lines in Europe and will be a wonderful technological showcase for future sorting and selective collection facilities.

The robustness of the Vauché Group is established, with many projects nearing completion all over the world.
