Packaging line equipment manufacturer FEGE: continuous innovation
Based in Vouziers in French Ardennes, the company FEGE, which manufactures robotised and automated packaging line equipment, has just celebrated 25 years of existence.
Over the years, the SME located in French Ardennes and employing 45 members of staff has managed to convince not only the biggest names in the agri-foodstuff and cosmetics industries (Nestlé, Danone, Kellogg’s, Johnson & Johnson, etc.), but also Champagne houses (Moët & Chandon, Laurent Perrier, etc.). Since its creation, Fege has developed close to 1,000 specialised machines, installed across the five continents. It makes between 60 and 70% of its turnover in exports. A subsidiary of the Alsace-based NSC (Nicolas Schlumberger Compagnie), the company can build on its complementarity with other packaging companies and the group’s international network.
The company’s strength lies in its ability to offer innovative solutions tailored to the needs of its clients thanks to an internal R&D department. Specialised in engineering, Fege manages the entire industrialisation process internally, from design to production. Renowned for its reliability and resistance, the Ardennes-based manufacturer equips its partners with robotics (palletisation, boxing robots, tray packers, etc.) and material-handling equipment (lane divider, accumulation table, etc.), integrating the various hygiene, safety, and environmental standards.
