Arden-Plast, packaging solutions for industry
Located in Mouzon, this company from the Ardennes has been manufacturing industry specific packaging for 30 years.
Created in 1986 by former Sommer employees, the company grew quickly at first before experiencing a period of relative stagnation until its takeover in 2012 by Benoît d'Harcourt. Since then, turnover has increased (€ 10.5 million in 2015) and several jobs have been created.
Arden-Plast offers packaging solutions in extruded corrugated polypropylene, including reusable and / or foldable custom-made returnable packaging for the automotive industry. Today, the products created by the SME of 43 employees are used by nearly 500 companies in many sectors: aeronautics, electronics, pharmaceuticals or even archiving for museums. These reusable and recyclable products comply with the circular economy and sustainable development.
The company controls the entire manufacturing process of its packaging, which allows it to be more responsive to its customers and to offer customised products. Three extrusion lines of different widths (1,300, 1,600 or 2,600 mm) convert granules into different coloured corrugated polypropylene sheets. The flatbed cut is then provided by automatic or manual presses depending on the range. Finally, Arden-Plast takes care of the assembly and shaping of the most complex products, for which it has a large design office.
Having returned to growth, Arden-Plast is now investing in new markets in Europe, while continuing to innovate.
