CADSIM 3D: a new innovative company in the field of digital simulation
Created in the French Ardennes and located in Charleville-Mézières, the CADSIM 3D company, supported by Ardennes Développement, is establishing itself as one of the leading players in digital simulation and the optimisation of mechanical structures for the industry in the Grand Est region.
The company was born from a crossing of paths. On the one hand, there was the R&D department of MICADO, an association active in the field of 3D modelling for 30 years and having developed a dedicated research team in French Ardennes, and on the other hand, an engineer with a PhD in digital simulation, Elvis Kwassi, who worked for Faurecia in the Mouzon R&D Centre in French Ardennes but wished to stand on his own.
In December 2017, Elvis Kwassi took on the staff of MICADO-DINCCS to create a consultancy firm in the field of mechanical design and digital simulation. This company, a start-up but with considerable experience, wants to be the preferred partner of manufacturers (in all sectors), particularly in the Grand Est region, in the areas of computer-aided design (CAD), digital simulation (finite element modelling), and optimisation of mechanical structures (saving materials, improving performance, etc.).
French Ardennes are a leading territory in the industry of the future thanks to Platinium 3D (additive manufacturing), which is now recognised nationally. Several companies already use 3D digital methods in their development, and this number can only grow. It’s a great challenge for the young company CADSIM 3D, which has been awarded by the association Réseau Entreprendre Champagne-Ardenne.
